HAMPSHIRE Women captain Georgia Adams has signed a new two-year contract extension which will see her remain at the club until at least 2028.

Adams, 32, is one of the most decorated players in the domestic game, most recently winning The Hundred with Trent Rockets this summer.

She was named player of the match in the final against Sunrisers Leeds on Sunday.

The all-rounder led Hampshire to the final of the Women’s Metro Bank One-Day Cup in 2025, the first year of professional women’s county cricket, following an unbeaten century in the semi-final against Surrey at the Utilita Bowl.

She is also a senior England international, earning a full international cap in 2024 when the Three Lions played Ireland.

Additionally, Adams had a successful career in Australia where she featured in two WBBL seasons, with her first being Adelaide Strikers’ title-winning season of 2023.

She has also represented New South Wales and led the state to the Women’s National Cricket League (WNCL) trophy in 2025.

Adams is also a three-time winner of The Hundred with Oval Invincibles (2021), Southern Brave (2023), and now with Trent Rockets, where she was named Player of the Match in the final against Sunrisers Leeds on Sunday 16 August.
