TOP promoter Frank Maloney has described Southampton’s hot prospect Tony Hill as possibly “the hidden diamond in British boxing.”

The 23-year-old middleweight has the rare privilege of being managed by Maloney who is determined to push his career on at a rate of knots.

Hill won his first bout back in September with a first-round stoppage of Stuart Barr and followed that up with another outing on November 20 when he went the distance for a comfortable four round points victory over Matt Scriven.

But there is no room for Hill to rest on his laurels and have a quiet build-up to Christmas because he being put out again on Friday, December 11 to face Luke Osman at Newport Leisure Centre.

And if everything goes well he could rack up his fourth pro fight in January.
