After his top ten success at Castle Combe, Southampton racer Jonny Hyde travelled to Brands Hatch in Kent, with mechanic Mike Boylin, for the AVO Ginetta sportscar championship.
Hyde, in his first full season of racing, contested one of the support races for the International DTM Championship.
Having qualified 11th, Hyde charged through the field to finish fourth overall in race one.
On Sunday, in front of a huge crowd, he finished race two in fifth position. The two top-five finishes are his best results to date. Hyde's next race meeting will be at Thruxton, near Andover, on August 5-6.
