CZECH trialist Mario Licka has won himself more time at St Mary's to impress manager George Burley.
The 24-year-old central midfielder, who is out of contract with his club FC Slovacko next week, played the full 90 minutes of last night's 1-1 friendly draw at Bristol City.
"Mario did well," said Burley, who also handed a debut to new £800,000 signing Kelvin Davis at Ashton Gate.
"He showed a lot of energy, worked hard and it certainly was a good performance.
"He is on a free transfer and we'll keep looking at him."
