Southampton legend Lawrie McMenemy today officially returns to the club for the first time in a decade.
The man who led Saints to the greatest day in their history, the 1976 FA Cup win, will be present for a piece of history as Michael Wilde's football board meets in full for the first time at St Mary's.
McMenemy has paid a couple of visits to St Mary's already in the past week and made the trip to Bristol City on Tuesday.
That was the first Saints game he has attended for the best part of a decade having been frozen out when the club was under Rupert Lowe's chairmanship.
However, now McMenemy is back on board for his third spell with the club the previous two were from 1973-1985 and again from 1993-1997 and is eager to start work.
He said: "Although I've been down at the ground a few times since I was put on to the board, this will be my first board meeting and the first time we really get down to business."
