SAINTS last night unveiled a new fan-friendly' structure designed to put a supporters' representative on the club's board within months.
Commercial manager Andy Oldknow and ticket office manager David Luker addressed fans groups in the St Mary's boardroom alongside club legend Lawrie McMenemy.
There it was revealed that Saints had created the first supporter services' section to be found anywhere in professional football.
Luker will head up the new division, which will be responsible for ticketing, stadium tours, front of house services and supporter relations.
But the "ultimate goal" of the supporter services department will be to select a fans' representative to sit on the club's football board.
