THE Gregg School’s Serena Vincent finished ninth in the girls’ shot put final at the Commonwealth Youth Games in The Bahamas.
At just 15 years of age Vincent was the youngest in a 16-strong field, headed by Canadian Under-18 record-holder Trinity Tutti with 17.82 metres.
Bursledon-based Vincent putted 13.41 for ninth spot, while her 16-year-old England and City of Portsmouth teammate Gaia Osborne finished sixth with 14.91.
