Chris Hobbs is preparing to finally get his boxing year up and running in Fareham tomorrow night, writes ADAM LEITCH.

The former Army man secured two quick back-to-back wins after turning pro at the end of last year but has been sidelined throughout 2013 with an injury that required surgery.

Hobbs will get the chance to kickstart his career at Fareham Leisure Centre as he takes on Angelo Crowe from Plymouth, who has lost his first two fights as a pro.

Hobbs is donating his entire fight purse to 18 month old local youngster Tyler-James Bloomfield, who has Septo-optic dysplasia which means he is unable to see and has growing problems.

The show in Fareham is headlined by Floyd Moore, who takes on Phil Gill, with the likes of Mark Coombs, Ryan Moore, Matt Goddard and Danny Couzens also slated to feature.

Tickets are priced at £30 and £60 and available on 07517 121544.
