Heavyweight Jake Defreitas made it two wins from two in his burgeoning ring career
The Southampton based HOP Boxer was in action as a support bout at the English Belt Championships in York Hall, Bethnal Green in London.

In the first round Defreitas, was under attack with swarming hooks and rear hands, but he defended and countered well.
A change of tactics from the corner, sent Defreitas out working behind the jab before launching his own quick two fisted attacks.
In the third round the opponent tired and Defreitas took control of the bout to run out a point’s winner of the contest.
Coaches Ricky Jeffery, Sami Elslamanabi and Dave Johnson were all very proud of Defreitas and how he performed.
It was Defreitas’ second bout and second win.
