Hampshire star James Vince has been included in a 19-man England Performance Programme squad that will be training in Sri Lanka this winter.
Led by Andy Flower, it will consist of training blocks at the National Cricket Performance Centre in Loughborough before a three-week camp in Sri Lanka for spin bowlers and batters.
An England Lions squad for the tour of South Africa early next year will be selected towards the end of the training blocks.
Vince has scored 1,477 Championship runs at 61.5 this season, following his vital century against Glamorgan in Cardiff yesterday.
