Lewis McManus hit an unbeaten half-century and Brad Wheal took three wickets as Hampshire called the tune against Nottinghamshire before the third match of their Barbados pre-season tour was drawn.
The teams played a split innings' 90-overs match. McManus shared the Hampshire batting credits with Tom Alsop, who hit a first innings half-century.
Fidel Edwards made his first appearance of the tour, trapping Steven Mullaney leg before wicket in his second over and finishing with 1-22 off his six overs.
Scores: Notts 179-2 (Libby 103*, Lumb 27, Crane 2-24) and 81-5 (Read 25, Wheal 3-13).
Hampshire 93-1 (Alsop 50*, Adams 34*) and 208-6 (McManus 51*, Smith 39, Wheater 38, Wood 29) Hampshire wind up their mini-Caribbean programme with a two-day game against Barbados A, which begins at the Kensington Oval tomorrow.
