WORLD record holder Cameron White has told Hampshire he would love to replace his former Victoria colleague Shane Warne for Hampshire's Twenty20 campaign next summer.

Warne has only played two T20 matches for the county in four years - and none in the last two - and will be playing poker in Las Vegas during the 2008 T20 group matches in England.

Hampshire will be allowed to replace their sole overseas player for the competition - and the big-hitting White, right, has declared his desire to be the latest Aussie to spend time at the Rose Bowl.

White has been a massive hit at Somerset for the last two seasons, blasting a world record unbeaten 141 from 70 balls in a Twenty20 match against Worcestershire at New Road in July 2006.
