HAMPSHIRE Royals have every chance of reaching Friends Provident t20 Finals day at the Rose Bowl if they can repeat their final group game display in next week’s quarter-final against Warwickshire Bears.
That’s the view of manager Giles White, who was thrilled with his side’s all-round team performance in Sunday’s 45-run win over Sussex at The Rose Bowl.
That victory over the reigning champions was enough to see Hampshire pip Surrey and Middlesex to fourth spot in the South Division on net run rate.
They will now face North Division winners Warwickshire – who along with Somerset have won the most games in this year’s competition, 11 – in the last eight at Edgbaston on Monday.
