Four of the nine local Southern Electric Premier League sides who have entered next summer’s ECB National Club Cricket Championship have been paired together in the opening round on April 27.
Totton & Eling will host New Milton at the Linden Oval, and Fawley entertain Sarisbury Athletic at Holbury.
The other five tackle clubs from other leagues – with Lymington facing a difficult test against Dorset League champions Parley at Dean Park.
Double winning Premier Division champions South Wilts have an immediate opportunity to avenge this summer’s shock first round defeat by Warminster, as the pair have been paired together again.
Havant cross the West Sussex county boundary to play Billingshurst with Portsmouth heading towards the Hog’s Back to play Normandy, from the Ryman Surrey Championship.
First round draw includes: Basingstoke & North Hants v Valley End, Billingshurst v Havant, Fawley v Sarisbury Athletic, Normandy v Portsmouth, Parley v Lymington, Totton & Eling v New Milton, Warminster v South Wilts.
