Big hitting Darren Cowley has recovered from a hamstring injury and is set to return for a hectic weekend of triple Premier League and twenty20 Cup action with Lymington.

The Premier Division’s bottom club face Langley Manor in the New Forest CA President’s Cup final at New Milton’s Fernhill ground this evening (6.15pm).

Tomorrow they host Premier League rivals Totton & Eling (11.30) and on Sunday face a banana-skin of a Southern Electric twenty20 Cup quarter-final tie at home to Hartley Wintney (3pm).

Lymington (v Langley Manor): D Edwards; B Rogers; D Cowley; R Scott; F Ambrose; E Ellis, L Marshall; K Moors; S Beetham; P McCann; E Freeman.

v Totton and Eling: D Mortimer; D Hand; R Scott; F Ambrose; D Cowley; D Edwards; M Metcalfe; S Beetham, E Ellis, P McCann; E Freeman.

v Hartley Wintney, Sunday: D Mortimer; B Rogers; D Cowley; R Scott; D Hand; E Ellis*+; S Beetham; K Moors; G Laymam; P McCann; E Freeman.

Hartley Wintney are preparing themselves for another giant killing cup win after skittling Andover for a meagre 71 and winning by ten wickets at London Road last weekend.

Hartley captain Jamie Teale said: “Andover was a fantastic result for us as they are going well in Division One. They were just unable to get the ball off the square and we then we smoked it when we batted.

“We know Lymington is going to be a tough test, but everyone is buzzing at the moment and we cannot wait.”
