Eastleigh chairman Paul Murray has revealed the club have received a confirmed offer of investment.

The Spitfires said this morning that three parties had enquired in the last week about investing in the company Eastleigh Football Club Ltd.

One has tabled a firm offer, with the remaining two invited to do the same by 4pm this Friday.

In a statement, Murray said: "The board of Eastleigh Football Club Limited will convene at 10am on Saturday 26th November, when they will consider the offers available, prior to reporting to the company shareholders.

"As we have signed confidentiality agreements, no further comment will be made until after that meeting."
