POMPEY are expected to outline details of an application to go into administration at a High Court hearing today.

Portsmouth FC bosses said earlier this week that the club had applied to go into administration and a hearing is listed at the High Court in London.

Two years ago, Portsmouth became the first Premier League club to enter administration.

On Monday, the club said in a statement: ''Portsmouth Football Club today made an application to the High Court to go into administration.

''The club will not enter administration until the court endorses the application and appoints an administrator.''

Officials said a hearing was due today.

Portsmouth's parent company, Convers Sports Initiatives, went into administration in November.
