EX-SAINT Jamie White is on the move again.

The 25-year-old striker, released by Sutton United at the end of last season, is one of the final pieces of the summer jig-saw for Gosport Borough boss Alex Pike.

White, who hails from Harefield, Southampton, has had rollercoaster career since his dream of a professional future at St Mary’s was wrecked by injury and he was released in 2010.

His comeback only really got started when he banged in goals galore for Winchester City during their 2011/12 Wessex title-winning season earning himself moves to Salisbury City – where he finished joint top Conference South scorer for 2012/13 – and Bristol Rovers.

He joined Sutton United last summer, linking up with ex-Eastleigh boss Paul Doswell, but things didn’t work out at Gander Green Lane and White ended the campaign on loan at Farnborough.

Gosport have also signed tough-tackling midfielder Perry Ryan, released after four years with National League South neighbours Havant & Waterlooville. The ex-Portsmouth academy graduate made over 150 appearances for the Hawks.
