ANDOVER Town’s powerhouse striker Michael Dixon is stepping into the Southern League.
The muscular former Winchester City frontman has joined promoted Sydenhams Premier champions Petersfield Town who are hoping he will give defenders headaches in the Evo-Stik Division One Central.
Another new addition at Love Lane is attacking full-back Liam Flanighan, whose former clubs include Havant & Waterlooville, Horsham, Alton Town and Walton Casuals.
More good news for Petersfield is that Matt Shortt, one of the best goalkeeper’s in the area, is staying on for the new season along with Olly Searle and Jordan Neal.
Neal is a natural scorer who notched some vital goals for the Rams last term, while Searle spent a chunk of 2014/15 helping Fareham Town maintain their Sydenhams Premier status.
