WINCHESTER City motored into the Southern One South & West play-off zone with a 4-1 win at Burnham tonight.
Paul Masters’ free-scoring Citizens are up to third in the table and have now netted 39 goals in their opening 13 league outings.
City, playing their third game in six days, took 23 minutes to open the scoring when Zach Glasspool poked home Warren Bentley’s cross.
Bentley made it 2-0 at the interval and, after a superb solo goal from Adam ‘Taz’ Roberts, City’s prolific No10 dinked in his second of the night to take his season’s league and cup goal tally to 29.
Burnham pulled one back late on.
Winch must hit the road again on Saturday to mid-table Larkhall Athletic.
