WINCHESTER City’s Evo-Stik Southern League fixture at Salisbury was a victim of the cold weather tonight.
‘The Cathedral Derby’ was postponed an hour-and-a-half before kick-off because of a frozen pitch at Salisbury’s Raymond McEnhill Stadium.
It was one of five games in the Southern One South & West to be frozen off.
The following matches were also postponed: Bridgwater Town v Larkhall Athletic, Didcot Town v Evesham, Mangotsfield United v Hereford and Shortwood United v Yate Town.
City are away to Barnstaple Town, who lost 1-0 at home to Taunton Town tonight, on Saturday.
Salisbury have a big game away to league leaders Hereford.
