Bramshaw Golf Club celebrated the cream of their talented young crop with ladies captain Sue Buenfeld on hand to recognise their achievements.

The christmas junior golf, presentation and social event proved very popular with junior golfers and their families with 52 playing golf and over 70 juniors, parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters coming along to celebrate team and individual successes in the 2015 golf season.

The club welcomed the 2016 Lady Captain, Buenfeld, who came along to present the awards with new professional Mike Bristow.

The 2015 season saw Bramshaw's junior team reach the England Semi-final in the Junior Team Golf Championship and the semi-final of the Blackmoor Shield.

Plus, the team won the Triangular event which included strong teams from Knighton Heath and Sandown (IoW).

Individually, the club's juniors continued to impress with many great performances during the year.

The presentation evening gave the families and juniors a great opportunity to see how much golfing talent there is at Bramshaw, from Alex Talbot (1 H’Cap) to the youngest winner, Lewis Hayne (47 H’Cap) at the tender age of just seven-years-old.

The evening also gave us all the club the opportunity to recognise the selfless work undertaken by Amelia Williams and Craig Woodman, who have given up so much of their time helping and supporting the younger juniors. The club also have the support of members, management, committees and professionals at Bramshaw, which makes for such a ‘family-friendly’ environment.
