Richard Bland will need a strong final round to improve his hopes of earning a European Tour card for next season after a 76 in today’s third round of the Perth International.
The Stoneham pro opened up with rounds of two-under and three-under in Australia to put himself in a tie for eighth position, but has fallen back into a tie for 26th on one under.
The 39-year-old is four shots off the top ten and a minumum prize of €30,000 that would likely be enough to secure his card.
The Perth International is likely to be Bland’s penultimate event of the campaign.
