Tottonians RFC are doing their bit to make sure male choir Only Men Aloud make it to the Stade de France in fine voice.
The award-winning choir will be cycling from Cardiff to Paris, along with Welsh rugby stars Colin Charvis and Haldane Luscombe, to sing the national anthem before the Wales v France game on February 28.
The second leg of the tough four-day ride will be from Bath to Lyndhurst, and Totts will make sure the cyclists rest and recuperate at their nearby headquarters.
Leaving the Millennium Stadium on Wednesday, February 25, the 50 cyclists and two Welsh internationals will be raising money for Shelter Cymru.
“Ride to the Rugby” riders will battle with the elements and pedal 300 miles over four days.
Tottonians secretary Graham Searle said: “Ride to the Rugby is not only a fantastic challenge for all those taking part, but through the fundraising efforts of the cyclists provides crucial funds to support Shelter Cymru’s vision of an end to homelessness across Wales.”
Last year Shelter Cymru helped 15,500 people with housing problems across Wales, and prevented homelessness in 80 per cent of the cases where it was faced.
