Clinical first-half finishing earned Snows Group Hampshire 1 leaders Millbrook another five-point victory.

Brook returned from Overton with a 47-5 win despite the home side having the lion’s share of possession.

Mark Colmer struck with two tries in the first 40 minutes which also saw Chad Marshall, Kev Cant and Mike McGrath cross the line.

Overton also managed to get over the whitewash but trailed 35-5 at the break.

The only score in the second half came from Brook’s Ratu Degei who crashed over from a strong run.

Brook captain Mike Randell said: “Overton tested us and probably had the greater share of the possession, so we had to work hard to earn the chance to play.

“Our attacking threat was very accurate and we scored some very good tries.

"Another five-point win on the road keeps building the momentum.”

Ellingham & Ringwood claimed an important away win at Ventnor.

The Es’ tries were scored by scrum half Dave Jones, centre Josh Butcher and winger Matt Raybould. Butcher also kicked all three conversions.
