I GOT into work at Southampton docks at 7.35am on Friday and had to drive through Millbrook, Shirley Road and then the docks itself. Not one of these roads was gritted. I would like to know why, it was treacherous!
There was a bus on the wrong side of the road at Foyes Corner causing tailbacks in all directions.
So, Southampton City Council, I would like an explanation. Not the old excuse “We didn’t know” or that it started raining, you had plenty of warning as it was all you heard on the TV and radio!
What’s your excuse this time?
