READING about Toby Lewis, the 24-year-old Hampshire lad who wants a career in poker playing, and with an ambition to make “millions”, I must say I felt dreadfully sorry for him.
What a sad and empty life, just to look forward to a glamorous lifestyle!
One day he may well come down to earth with a bump.
Of course, I may be misjudging him as I don’t know the young man.
But he would do well to remember what Aristotle Onassis, who was one of the richest men in the world, said at the end of his life: “Millions do not always add up to what a man needs out of life”.
