HOWabout a swap?
Harbour House is the rightful home for the Titanic museum.
Both the Titanic and Harbour House were built in the golden Edwardian era.
Both were extravagant in their day and their respective masters probably knew each other well.
The Sea City building would make an ideal venue for a pole dancing club – it would be quite at home with the antics that take place in the adjoining council chamber!
The remaining Sea City exhibits should go back to the Wool House.
These, together with St Michaels, Tudor House, the Bargate and the Old Walls, classic boats and the QE2 Mile make an impressive heritage that will appeal to tourists and make Southampton an attractive destination port for cruise liners.
I CURTIS, Southampton.
