MANY years ago, while walking in Southampton Common, I was amused to see the slogan “Made in heaven, sold on Earth!” daubed on Southern Water’s covered reservoir.
Now that there is the possibility that there will be fluoridation of our drinking water supply, the slogan should be updated to read “made in heaven, soured on Earth!”
