I agree wholeheartedly with Mary Stonham (Letters, January 19). The show White Christmas is first class.

My son and daughter-in-law came over from Malta early December and said they would like to see a show. They had hoped to see one in the West End but I took them to the opening night and what we saw was every bit as good as any West End show I've seen.

Irving Berlin's music was well played by the orchestra who sounded twice as big as they actually were. The songs were sung very well by all the cast and the dancing superb. The scene changes very slick. A thoroughly professional show. We all enjoyed every minute. Thank you, Mayflower.
