IT seems that we are way behind the times. Gordon Brown's insistence that we should preserve our British way of life, fly the flag, etc, and that talk about a referendum to give Scotland its independence is a non-starter.
The EU, using the facilities of the European Commission, local regional assemblies and civic authorities are hell-bent on destroying the UK - literally taking it off the map!
The EU plan is to fully integrate all the member national states and reconfigure the national states by imposing regional authorities, which the EU will fully control.
Under the plans, and recently implemented, western Britain has become the region of Arc Manche. The capital of this new region is Paris and the first un-elected president of Arc Manche is a Frenchman, Alain Le Vern.
Returning to the issue of independence for Scotland. SNP supporters can forget it. The EU plans to incorporate Scotland with Norway, Greenland, Iceland, Sweden and Finland to become the northern periphery region of the European Union.
