I DISAGREE entirely with roads for the rich and privileged but would prefer toll roads to be built on the 90 per cent of land owned by the privileged, and they could charge whatever they liked.
It is obvious some congestion will occur on our roads, so I suggest a minimum 10 year ban plus confiscation for offence such as (I) no insurance, (ii) no MOT, (iii) no tax disc, (iv) no licence, (v) repeated speeding.
A life ban and confiscation for death caused by drunken driving or dangerous driving.
This should free up the roads for time to seriously discuss the problem.
