Lib Dem Coxford councillors haven't a clue. They have been asking residents to sign their petition demanding the government reversed the plan to close Aldermoor Road Post Office.
If they had a clue about what was going on in the Coxford Ward, they would know that even the Post Office says that the closure was decided by the Co-op, who stated that antisocial behaviour forced them to close and has nothing to do with the government!
The Lib Dem petition is useless because it addresses the wrong people.
The council must act to reduce fear of antisocial behaviour if a new post office is to succeed.
Once again we continue to pay the price for the Lib Dems' failures.
DON THOMAS, Coxford Labour party candidate.
