WE wonder why this country is in such a state, with people frightened to go out at night.
The PC Turner case shouldn't have come to this. If anyone resists arrest they should be hammered, not lightly kicked on the leg, end of story.
These thugs have been pushing their luck for too long. Until extreme measures like this are taken, the thugs will rule the streets. There is no deterret and they know it.
It's time fire was fought with fire. If PC Turner loses his job over this, then the rest of the constabulary had just as well hand their badges in, because they are fighting a losing battle.
People who break the law should have no human rights. It's a simple as that.
