Southampton General Hospital
MIGHT I record a letter of appreciation for the hardworking staff who operate in the Radiotherapy section of Oncology in the Southampton General Hospital.
As a sufferer of prostate cancer, I was recommended to undergo a seven-week course of treatment by radiotherapy which has recently finished.
Having to struggle daily through heavy traffic, very restricted parking and roadworks in the hospital vicinity I was dreading the whole experience.
Every day however I marvelled at how the friendly staff applied themselves to ensuring that their patients got the very best treatment whilst themselves being rushed off their feet by the demand for their services.
A big thank you to all involved.
