WHY is it that Millbrook Road can be resurfaced to cut the noise and reduce spray, and be ready for the boat show, and yet loads of roads around the city are in a terrible state with loads of dangerous potholes that don't get repaired?
Among these are Anglesea Road, Kendal Avenue and Tremona Road which ambulances use to get to Southampton General Hospital. I pity the poor patients.
I would like a councillor to cycle around the city and perhaps they would realise how dangerous it is, especially near the gutters.
MRS B BROWN, Shirley, Southampton.
