IT WAS a joy to attend Eddie Bone’s speech recently about an English Parliament. It was truly moving and factual.
Mr Bone spoke with true passion and promise and came across with honest opinion about how we all feel.
England needs a parliament that will make us equal in a disunited kingdom. Why is it that England gets left behind?
Plus, to have the English parliament van in Winchester playing Jerusalem was heart warming.
I heard it as I was delivering English Democrats’ leaflets in the city centre.
I am the prospective candidate for the English Democrats for Winchester for the next general election.
Why am I standing, people will ask?
It is because the English Democrats put England first.
I have been inspired by my late father, by Robin Tillbrook and others.
Robin sent me a Mark Twain speech ages ago, but the words still ring true!
“In the beginning of change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for it costs nothing to be a patriot!”
Feel free to look at the English Democrats’ website and you see the party that I love truly represents England. A party I am proud to be member of and stand for – like I did in local elections – and I will stand again.
Let’s make England even greater!
Let’s be proud to be English!
Let’s have an English parliament!
Back me or boo me, I stand for England and our readers.
I would like to thank all those who I have met so far, and look forward to the future now.
God bless the Queen and Saint George plus your readers, who may agree with me or not!
Mark Rowe, Winnall, Winchester.
