WELL done to New Forest District and Totton town council and also to all the local residents who put so much work into saving our green spaces from greedy developers and the company behind them (BAT).
In other parts of the country BAT has given sites to the community. Why not in Totton? Greed. The price of land is so high in the south that's why.
Linden Homes' plans were also to make as much money as possible and as a smokescreen the football club etc were, I believe, used. If Linden Homes thought they had a remote chance of building over the complete sites I don't think they would have hesitated. They put in plans for what they hoped they could get away with.
