THE report headed MP to Quiz Police Over Shoot-to-kill Policy (Daily Echo, September 14) demonstrates once again howe far the wishy-washy Lib Dem MP Sandra Gidley and her party are completely out of touch with the public.
"The police operation in Chandler's Ford seems to be a police operation that went badly wrong,'' she said.
She is the one who has got it wrong.
I am certain that 90 per cent of the public will deplore the idiotic request by Mrs Gidley for a public inquiry, as this incident sets a very worrying precedent.
Three cheers for the police and an excellent job.
Mrs Gidley's request for an inquiry should be treated with the contempt it deserves.
