Sorry to disappoint you Richard Grant but once again the UK leads the medical world by announcing the discovery of a drug that can massively reduce the effects of the covid- 19 virus once in the system at its most virulent.
Our technical prowess and inventive ability has always been the envy of the world and will be sorely missed when we leave the EU next month.
Never again will we be expected to bale out countries within the EU that should never have been allowed to join in the first place.
Once we have left I think other EU countries will not be far behind us.
