I am delighted to be able to share with your readers the exciting news that Jane's, the charity shop on Latimer Street raising funds for Jane Scarth House, is re-opening this Saturday, 4 July.

All appropriate measures will be taken, to ensure required distancing is maintained.

The health and well-being of our customers and staff is of primary importance.

We look forward to welcoming customers to Jane's from 9.30am on Saturday.

We also know that many people will have identified donations they wish to make, in recent weeks.

Temporarily, we request, if you would like to make a donation to the shop, please call 01794 512234 to arrange an appointment.

We continue to provide many of Jane Scarth House's services, for people affected by cancer.

Our services are mainly by telephone or video call, whichever feels most comfortable, at present. This includes Counselling, Meditation and a new development, Art for Wellbeing.

It will be some time before we can fully re-open the Jane Scarth House Centre on the Hundred. However, for the next two weeks we will have a gazebo Information Point in front of the Centre at 37a The Hundred, to provide information, arrange appointments for counselling or befriending and discuss how we can help.

This will open initially on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10.00am to 2pm.

Full social distancing will be observed. After two weeks we hope to have the Centre open for indoor befriending, appointments only. The Information Point will continue.

Our services are as busy as ever and if we can help you, please call 01794 830374 to leave a message, for us to get back to you, or email: info@janescarthhouse.co.uk

Jane Scarth House services are available free of charge to anyone affected by cancer, including family or friends.
