HAVING recently attended Southampton General Hospital for surgery, yet again I have to salute everyone for their commitment and dedication.
You are all without doubt heroes.
On departing the hospital I walked up the footpath exit near A&E and was astonished and ashamed at the amount of used face masks randomly discarded in the vicinity.
I am assuming the offenders are hospital visitors and if so, they should hang their heads in shame at the disrespect they have shown to the NHS, the patients that not survived this epidemic and also the City of Southampton.
This minority ( let's hope it is a minority ) do not deserve our wonderful NHS.
