I see a Councillor Leggett states 400 cyclists a day are using the dangerous lanes at Bassett Avenue above the Redhill roundabout.
I wonder where they come from?
Not many residents there own a bike.
I expect he has had somebody count them.
I use it frequently and rarely see a bike on the road, some on the pavement, yes.
The testing time will come after the lockdown when trade returns and the heavies return.
The air pollution will sky-rocket then right down to the motorway.
I expect then, the councillors wearing cycle clips, will regret the decision.
The first cycle casualty is yet to come, God forbid.
