However, in Bassett and Swaythling she barely shows her face except to use taxpayers' money (I refer to her exorbitant expenses bill) to put out a full-colour glossy leaflet to try to boost local Lib Dem councillors' chances at election time next year.

It's a slap in the face to use taxpayers' money for that and the bigger insult is that she naively thinks that the people of Swaythling and Bassett have forgotten that the Lib Dems forced the transit camp on us, without a second thought.
