I RECEIVED a letter today from Southampton City Council about their worries at having a T-mobile mast put up in the Weston and Woolston areas.

When I got to the bottom of the letter I noticed that if I wanted to contact them on any views I had a choice of three numbers to call.

When I got to the last number I noticed it was the mobile number of Councillor WarwickPayne.

I phoned My Payne and asked him why if he was so against a mast being put up was he was using a mobile phone and I called him a hypocrite.

After a few seconds of silince he then said to me that people need to get hold of him and he hung up.

I'm sure that most of the Government have mobile phones, so if they are so against masts being put up I think they should all throw their mobiles away. Mr Payne said they need them.
