IN response to Cllr Thomas comments in My View, I believe him to be sincere in his views in particular You Reap What You Sow, for there he has it.
The Socialist Governments down through to local council and community level, through legislation and politically correct groups have since the reducing the voting age to 18 have continued to undermine, and purposely diluted the responsibility of parents and what was family togetherness.
This has worsened and while those parents who seek the old ways continue to be challenged and pushed aside, nothing will change, parents are now relinquishing their responsibility why should they fight the Government.
The recent event whereby a local government official advised a young orphan girl who wish to go to college is advised Got Home Get Pregnant that's best for you, sums up the whole sad sorry story of Government interference, hence You Reap What You Sow. You cannot build a nation of young people with character and courage. By doing for them what they could be and should be doing for themselves.
