TWENTY-five pounds per annum to cast a fishing line from your local pier or beach!

What other diabolical law is this lousy Labour government going to dream up to bleed the cash from our pockets? It could be, of course, aimed at the recent influx of Polish immigrants who have been plundering the fresh water rivers, for which we've always needed a rod licence, in which case we all now must suffer!

I would suggest this is a tax too far that will unseat them at the next general election.

I am no great sea fishing enthusiast and it has been quite a while since last I enjoyed a days fishing from a pier or beach casting, but to have to pay this tax for a couple of days out per year at the most is certainly too much to ask as far as I am concerned.

My rods will have to languish in the loft until the law is changed and the Labour party are sent packing.

Come on all you regular anglers, your strength is in the will of the many and you will only have this law thrown out if you stick together and say no, enough is enough.
