"WRONG and wrong again, Christian Keech'' (Letters December 10) Sandra Gidley did not use tax payer's money to fund the recent full colour Focus leaflet distributed in Bassett and Swaythling. It was totally paid for from Lib Dem funds and was hand-delivered by local councillors and supporters.
And the Lib Dems did not force the Gypsy Site on Swaythling. The Swaythling site was chosen as a result of objective testing in which the Lib Dems had no say. The decision was then accepted by the full Council, as well as Cabinet and Scrutiny. Noone accepted the decision without "a second thought'' but after careful assessment of all the options and implications. I wonder what other facts Christian Keech gets wrong and upon which he forms his opinions!
