BEFORE the Second World War, the Royal Pier with it's promenade, theatre and restaurant was the focal-point of social life in Southampton.
We would like to congratulate all those involved in the Queen Victoria Christmas Festival whose artistry and skill brought colour and spectacle to the city streets and to Mayflower Park. The snowgarden in the park was simply magical!
