I ALSO live in Fair Oak. I did not realise that there is a sand pit large enough for Hugh Cleverley to bury his head in!
Which political party is he speaking about when he says "genuine, honest, down to earth men and women''.
What doesn't suit Hugh Cleverley, suits me very well. I am not a customer of the Northern Rock. I think it was admirable of the Govrnment to bail out a PRIVATE enterprise, so that millions of ordinary people did not lose everything. Had Mr Cleverley been a customer, he'd be singing a different tune.
If Mr Cleverley did not read the scaremongering newspapers, he would realize that, there is nothing amiss with the NHS. I had major surgery this summer and have nothing but admiration for the hard working consultants, doctors and nurses, who looked after me and all the patients.
They were brilliant trying to ascertain the problem of an elderly "foreign'' national who didn't understand English. Would Mr Cleverley have had her shipped to her own country for treatment?
Of course there are things which are not good, but one should look at what is good, the grass is not greener on the other side.
As Mr Cleverley is so dissatisfied with our elected government, I hope he has sent his £100 given towards his heating costs back, also his free bus pass, yes issued by the local council and paid for by THE LABOUR GOVERNMENT.
H E PRICE, Fair Oak.
